About Us
Enjoy your summer nights in the beautiful and intimate setting of the Sandy Amphitheater. Located on the corner of 9400 South and 1300 East and overlooking the Salt Lake Valley. The view is truly breathtaking as the sun sets in the west and the moon rises over the Wasatch Mountains. From June-September, the Amphitheater season includes popular local bands, well-known national and international performers as well as musical theatre and even orchestra concerts.
Completed in 1999, The Sandy Amphitheater boasts a capacity of 3,000. 966 theater seats up close to the stage, while over 2,000 lawn seats on the hill, with designated lawn chair and blanket areas, allow patrons to relax a bit more while watching a show with a picnic if desired. Either way there’s plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy an evening of music under the stars.
There is a concession stand on the main plaza, ran by Spaghetti Mamas, that sells a variety of food and Coke products. Credit cards, debit cards and cash are accepted. Coolers are welcome in the venue, however, no alcohol or glass containers are allowed. Smoking is not allowed on the Amphitheater grounds.
The Amphitheater is wheelchair accessible, and for any additional ADA accommodations please call the Amphitheater at 568-ARTS (2787).
Tickets are available in advance of any show and the gates open one-hour before performances begin.
Also, the Sandy Amphitheater may be rented for private functions like dance studio recitals or company/group events. Call (801) 568-6097 for more information.
