Sandy Art Show

This is a premier, adjudicated art show offering participants the opportunity to publicly exhibit and sell their work as well as vie for cash prizes.
Artist from Sandy and across Utah are represented and this show highlights watercolor, oil, acrylic, clay art (pottery or sculpture) and photography. This is free and open to the public.
Florence P. Hansen: Featured Artist
Florence P. Hansen has gained international recognition for her work as a sculptress and design artist. Private and public commissions include prestigious works in collections across the nation. She studied under the renowned sculptor, Dr. Avard T. Fairbanks, at the University of Michigan, where she designed automobile motifs and ornaments for Ford Motor Company, and also for Brad Keeler Artware, Glendale, California. Mrs. Hansen is the principal artist for Hansen Classics. These sculptures, produced in fine porcelain, have been selected as official gifts to presidents, prime ministers, premiers and others in high office. A collection of her work will be on display during the Sandy Art Show.

Click here to read the Sandy Art Show rules and to register for the show. An online registration discount is given on the entry fee. Art drop off is Friday, Nov. 4 from 8 am-5 pm at the Sandy Senior Center 9310 south 1300 East.
High school seniors are encouraged to enter. One piece can be enter free of charge and each additional for $15 each.
